About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Substance Abuse Counselor and earned my undergraduate degree at UW-Madison and my master’s degree in Social Work at Rutgers University. I have experience as a therapist working with children, adults and couples.
As a therapist in private practice, I assist clients with identifying their challenges and strengths, so they can face their future in a stronger frame of mind. I choose therapeutic approaches that best fit each client’s needs, often utilizing an integrative approach that blends various therapeutic modalities.
I strive to help my clients regain a positive outlook, as well as rebuilding their strength and resiliency to face life’s challenges and stressors. I offer a safe environment for individuals to work through past hurts, find freedom from ongoing struggles, grow in their true self, and thrive in their lives and relationships. I will help you to develop strategies to manage life's challenges and capture your strengths and help you be empowered through personal growth and change. I am Trauma Certified and trained in several modalities but believe that you are the expert in you.

Specializing in Individual & Couples Therapy as well as Trauma and Addiction
Individual Therapy
While everyone’s goals for therapy are slightly different, a therapist’s office is a place for healing, personal growth, and finding peace. Therapy can heal your pain, improve your self-esteem, and help you build a more fulfilling life.
I provide individual therapy for adults, adolescents, and children. Individual counseling provides an opportunity for you to openly express your thoughts and feelings in a safe environment.
Addiction Treatment
Recovering from addiction is a complex process. The road is never smooth. In fact, you will probably encounter hardships and heartaches. But it is a journey that everyone hoping to recover from addiction must make and it is the only way to move from a life of destruction to a life of health and wellness.
My goal is to support and empower you to make meaningful changes while instilling hope that healing is possible, and a better tomorrow does exist.
Relationships
A good relationship is more than something we want—it’s something we need to be our happiest, healthiest, most productive selves. But at home or work, supportive, fulfilling relationships don’t come automatically. They take an investment in time and energy as well as social skills that can be learned.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy can help you heal past hurts, communicate better, and feel joy in your relationship again. You can develop a deeper sense of connection and satisfaction in your relationship by breaking down barriers and renegotiating boundaries to achieve greater intimacy.
Trauma Treatment
In the wake of crisis, it is possible to learn and grow faster than at any other time, because there is a door of opportunity. Growth can go at warp speed in every domain of life.
As a Trauma Certified Therapist, I will help you learn much that is deep and profound by interacting and working together on the meaning of the difficult experience.
The human psyche has a tremendous capacity for recovery and growth. Recovering from a traumatic experience requires that the painful emotions be thoroughly processed. Couples counseling.
Grief & Loss
Grief is not something you get over; it is something you go through. I help grieving clients develop strategies to cope with their losses remember that there is no timeline for grief.
It is important to keep in mind everyone grieves differently and there is no “right way” to grieve. It can be helpful to have someone to share your thoughts and feelings with and help you understand what is normal in the grieving process. It IS possible to start enjoying life again.
